I was a kid when this movie released. So I can't tell the actual vibe it created in Telugu movies. But I can absolutely say that this is an iconic love story ever made in Telugu cinema. I can watch this movie over and over again, without getting bored.

His next release in Telugu was Weekend Love in 2014 which was a disaster garnering lukewarm response. His much anticipated Telugu film 'Tungabhadra' produced by media baron Sai Korrapati released in March 2015 and sunk without a trace though it earned him positive reviews. In 2017, he starred in Yupp TV Web Series, alongside Telugu stars. The series received positive talk and is a success.
