On Sunday, Twitter user Sydney Morgan posted a thread in which she talked about losing her job the week before, “and along with it, my entire sense of purpose and passion.” Morgan said that she was helped through her “trying” time by stumbling upon Josh Groban’s new single “Granted”. “It touched my soul,” Morgan said, in a tweet tagging the singer. “The poignancy of the words felt like someone was telling me to pick myself up and continue on,” she continued. “I listened to it on repeat for days and it gave me the strength to move on with my life.” Groban himself responded to Morgan’s tweets, telling her the thread “really touched me. “As artists we live in a bubble sometimes and can’t see the big picture of how a song might impact someone. Thanks so much for sharing this with me and stay strong!! You got this!!” The exchanged inspired and warmed the hearts of many Groban fans on Twitter.
